Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 24, 2025

At Tapestry, we understand that your privacy matters. We are committed to protecting your personal information and ensuring it is handled responsibly. Please take a moment to review this Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and share your information. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the practices described below and consent to our handling of your data as outlined.

Your use of Tapestry’s Services is always governed by our Terms of Use, which incorporate this Privacy Policy. Any capitalized terms not defined here carry the meaning provided in the Terms of Use.

Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle the personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") we collect when you access or use our Services. It does not apply to the practices of companies we do not own or control, or to individuals we do not employ or manage.

We collect various types of Personal Information for purposes such as improving our services, creating and managing user accounts, enabling communication between users, processing product and service requests, and analyzing how users engage with our Services. Some information may be shared with third parties under specific conditions, as detailed below.

In line with our Terms of Use, we do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 13. If you are under 13, do not register or provide any personal information. If we discover that a child under 13 has shared personal data with us, we will promptly delete it. If you suspect a child under 13 has submitted personal data to us, please contact support@tapestryshow.ca.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

As our Services evolve, this Privacy Policy may also change. We will notify you of significant updates through notices on our website or mobile app, via email, or through other appropriate methods. If you’ve chosen not to receive legal notices via email, these updates will still govern your use of the Services, and you are responsible for reviewing them. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted implies acceptance of those updates.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide to Us

We collect any information you voluntarily submit to us. During account setup or through account preferences, we may gather Personal Information such as your name, email address, phone number, and third-party login credentials (e.g., from Facebook). If you connect a third-party account, we may receive certain content or details from it—referred to as "Third Party Account Information"—which is subject to this Privacy Policy.

We may also communicate with you if you’ve provided contact details. For instance, if you give us your email address, we may send you promotional offers or service-related messages. We track email open rates to improve our communications. You can opt out by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.

Information Collected Automatically

When you interact with our Services, we automatically log data such as your IP address, device identifiers, cookie data, browser type, and pages accessed. Cookies help us recognize your device and understand usage patterns. You can adjust browser settings to disable cookies, though this may affect certain features.

When we collect this kind of usage data, it is used in an aggregated, non-personalized form—for example, to identify which features are most used.

Sharing of Personal Information

We do not rent or sell your Personal Information in identifiable form. We may share it in the following situations:

Aggregated and De-Identified Information

We may anonymize your information so it cannot be linked to you and share it with partners to help them understand how our Services are used. This data will never identify you personally.

Affiliated Businesses

Sometimes, third-party businesses may provide products or services via our platform, either independently or in partnership with us. We only share your data with them when relevant to those services. For example, linking a Facebook account may import information into your Tapestry profile. Please review the privacy practices of any affiliated business or third-party site you interact with.

Agents and Service Providers

We employ vendors and contractors to perform services on our behalf, such as processing payments. These agents only access your information as needed to perform their duties and are prohibited from using it for other purposes.

User Profiles and Shared Content

Some information, such as your name, location, and uploaded content (images, videos), may be visible to other users. Your privacy settings may allow you to control what others see. Any information you disclose in public areas (e.g., forums or chats) may be collected and used by others. Your username may also appear when you interact with others through messages or uploads.

If you connect a third-party social network (like Facebook), your friend list may sync with our platform and be visible to other users who are also your friends.

Business Transfers

In the event of a sale, acquisition, bankruptcy, or other corporate change, your Personal Information may be part of the assets transferred.

Legal Requirements and Protection

We may access and share your information as necessary to comply with laws, respond to legal processes, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect the rights, safety, and property of Tapestry, our employees, users, and the public.

Security of Your Personal Information

Your account is secured by a password. If you use a third-party service to access your account, that service may have additional security protocols. It is your responsibility to keep your login credentials secure and to log out when finished.

We use encryption (SSL) and other safeguards to protect your data, but no system is fully secure. Unauthorized access, system failures, or other factors may compromise your information at any time.

Access to Your Information

Through your account settings, you can view, update, or delete the following:

  • Name and password
  • Email address
  • Profile details, including uploaded media

The types of data you can edit may evolve as our Services change. To inquire about the data we store, contact support@tapestryshow.ca.

Your Choices

You are not required to provide personal information, but certain features may not be available without it.

You may edit or delete account information via your settings. Deleted accounts are generally purged within 30 days, though complete deletion—including from backups—may take longer. Some residual data may remain in our records. Aggregated data derived from your Personal Information may still be used in non-identifiable form.

Data Privacy, Ownership, and GDPR

Our services are intended solely for users in Canada and the United States and its territories. If you access our Services from outside Canada or the U.S., you do so at your own risk and are in violation of our Terms of Use.

By using our platform, you agree to our Terms and this Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data, nor do we currently engage in third-party advertising partnerships that would share your information.
